Technichal characteristics of industrial transformers

TAP CHANGER

Usually the primary windings are fitted with a 5 position tap changer +-2 x 2.5%. Other values are available on request.

Vectorial group

The standard vectorial group of the industral transformers is Dyn11. Other vector groups are available on request.

Temperature rise

The ambient temperature usually doesn't exceed 40°C and the standard industrial transformer has temperature rise of the windings not exceeding 100 K. Tesar transformers can be designed for installation in places with higher ambient temperature up to 55° C.

Sound pressure

Tesar distribution industrial transformers have very low sound pressure levels, from 48 up to 66 db (A)

Installation altitude

The maximum installation altitude of our standard industrial transformers is 1000 m above the sea level. Anyway we can manufacture industrial transformers for higher installation altitudes.
