Oil immersed distribution transformers are available in different steps from 100kVA to 10MVA as non-sealed or as hermetically sealed.

All transformers fully comply with the latest EU 548/2014 regulations.

This transformer, with a maximum rated power of 1600 kVA, has its strength point in its lighter weight, if compared to the advanced model, of the same characteristics. Thanks to these features, it represents the best compromise where restriction or, limitation of weight and dimensions are required.

Developed thanks to 35 years of Tesar experience in the field of transformers. It is able to be installed in every site and location without any limitation. The transformer can be customized to the client specific requirements.

Ecodesign

The transformer is fulfilling the Ecodesign directive of EU and the EN 50588-1. The transformer allows a reduction in energy consumption and as a consequence a reduction in greenhouse emissions. This is our Top Model.

Oil temperature indicator

Oil temperature indicator

Device used to measure the top oil temperature in the tank. It is provided with 2 contacts for alarm and trip.

Buchholz relay

Buchholz relay

This device detects the presence of gas inside the tank, giving alarm and trip signals. It is possible also to connect a gas sampling device with Buchholz relay to collect the gas for analysis.

DMCR

DMCR

Multi-function device used to control pressure, temperature and level of the dielectric liquid inside the transformer tank.

Oil level indicator

This device gives a visual signal of the oil level in the conservator. It can be provided with contacts to signal max and min oil level.

Air breather

Air breather

This device absorbs the humidity in the air entering the transformer during the thermal contraction of the dielectric liquid in order to preserve the oil characteristics.

Pressure relief device

Pressure relief device

In case of fault the insulating liquid may produces a large volume of gas that must be evacuated in order to prevent the explosion of the transformer. Through the pressure relief device it is possible to evacuate the oil. It can be equipped with a contact to signal the opening of the device.
